An ohmmeter is a device used to measure the resistance of an electrical conductor. It consists of a battery, a meter, and two leads. One lead is connected to the battery positive terminal and the other lead is connected to the battery negative terminal. The meter is connected between the two leads. When current flows through the conductor, the meter deflects to indicate the resistance.
