how to convert Watts to Amps

how to calculate Watts to Amps

1. DC Voltage

I = P / V

Example:

P = 60
V = 12
I = 60W / 12V

I = 5A

2. Single phase voltage

I = P / (PF × V )

Example:
P = 920
P.F = 0.8
V = 230

I = 920W / ( 0.8 PF × 230V )

I = 5A

3. Three phase voltage

I = P / ( √3   × PF  × V )

Example:

I = 2875.12 / ( √3 × 0.8PF ×415 V )

I = 2875.12 / 575.024

I = 5A

how to convert milliamps to Amps

How to convert milliamps to Amps

1A = 1000 mA

I = mA / 1000

Example:

mA = 5000

ampere I = ?

I = 5000mA / 1000

I = 5A

how to calculate Amps to milliamps

how to calculate Amps to milliamps

mA = A ×  1000

Example:

A = 5
mA = ?
mA = 5 A × 1000

mA = 5000

How to calculate Ampere and voltage

How to calculate Ampere and voltage

1. single phase voltage

V = P / I

Example:

P = 115
I = 5

V = 1150P / 5I

V = 230V

2 . Three phase voltage

V = P / 3 ×  PF ×  A

Example:

P = 2875
I = 5
P>F= 0.8

V =2875.12 P / 3 ×0.8 PF ×5 A

V = 2875.12 / 6.928

V = 415V

how to calculate volt ampere VA in a singe and a three phase system

how to calculate volt ampere VA in a singe and a three phase system

1. Single phase voltage

VA = I  × V

Example:

I = 5
V = 230

VA =5 I × 230V

VA = 1150 VA

2. Three phase voltage

VA =  √3   ×  I   ×  V

Example:

I =5

V = 415

VA = √3 × 5I × 415V

VA = 3593.9

how to calculate KVA in a single and a three phase system

how to calculate KVA in a single and a three phase system

1. Single phase voltage

KVA = I × V / 1000

Example:

I = 5
V=230

KVA =5 I ×230 V / 1000

KVA   = 1.15 KVA

2. Three phase voltage

KVA =  3 × I × V / 1000

Example:

I= 5
V=415

KVA = 3 × 5I ×415 V / 1000

KVA  = 7.1878 KVA

How to calculate kw in ac and dc

How to calculate kw in ac and dc

1. DC Voltage
Formula .
P = I  × V / 1000

Example:

I = 5
V= 12
P =?

P =5I ×12V / 1000

P = 0.06KW

2. Single phase voltage

P = PF  × A  × V / 1000

Example:
P.F = 0.8
A   = 5
V   = 230
KW (P) = ?

P =0.8PF ×5 A × 230V / 1000
P= 0.92KW

3. Three phase voltage

P = PF × × A  × V / 1000

Example:

P.F = 0.8
A   = 5
V   = 415
P    = ?
P = 0.8PF × 3 × 5A × 415V / 1000

P   = 2.875 KW

how to convert amps to watts

how to convert amps to watts

1.DC voltage

P = I × V

ohm's law

P = E × I

P = R × I2

P=  E2 × R

Example:

12V     5A

P 12V  × 5A      = 60W

P = R  ×  I2

R = P /  I2

R = 60W /   52   = 2.4

P = 2.4  × 52   = 60W

P= E2 × R

P = 12 / 2.4      = 60W

 2. Single phase voltage

P = PF × I × V

Example:

P = 0.8PF × 5A × 230V

P = 920W

3. Three phase voltage

P = 3 × PF × A × V

Example:

P = 3 ×0.8 PF ×5A ×415V

P = 2875.12W
