how to calculate Watts to Amps
1. DC Voltage
I = P / V
Example:
P = 60
V = 12
I = 60W / 12V
I = 5A
2. Single phase voltage
I = P / (PF × V )
Example:
P = 920
P.F = 0.8
V = 230
I = 920W / ( 0.8 PF × 230V )
I = 5A
3. Three phase voltage
I = P / ( √3 × PF × V )
Example:
I = 2875.12 / ( √3 × 0.8PF ×415 V )
I = 2875.12 / 575.024
I = 5A
